The series, "NYC-CHGO X 2", is about an anxious time.  Sept 11th, has set a marker in  history not only for Americans but worldwide.  It seems collectively, we are all feeling vulnerable and thus, the increase in gun sales, amongst other things.  This series addressees this time period which continues to be true even now.  A feeling of no longer being invincible, but being broken, troubled, and unsettled.  History was being rewritten here, not somewhere else in the world.

The urban setting "City" combines renaissance buildings with plans for a loft renovation overlaid by a neon sign "City," The images progress from a normalcy to signs of impending doom, to disaster ending with an uneasy moving forward towards recovery in the "Parallel Stories" image with cranes of reconstruction behind a striding purposeful New Yorker.
